The tattoo ink that we remove at Ink-B-Gone will never return. However, it is important to note that some tattoos might never fade completely due to global variations of inks, needle depths, application techniques, etc. This will be assessed during your free tattoo removal consultation and explained further. INK-B-GONE cannot guarantee a complete fade due to these factors, but we will do our best to 'Undo the 'TOO'! Ask about our success rate.

Minors can absolutely have their tattoo's removed, but we do require a parent's consent and a parent must be on-site for each treatment. |

5-12 week intervals is the ideal time to wait between treatments. It takes at least 5 weeks for your body to naturally process and expell the ink. We typically prefer clients to wait at least 5 weeks between treatments. There are a few new laser facilities in Denver who are treating patients every 3-4 weeks, resulting in permanent scarring and hypo-pigmentation. The treated area is not healed and ready for the 'assault' of a laser any sooner than 5 weeks. |

The duration of each tattoo removal treatment depends on the size and color of your tattoo. Most of our clients are in and out within 15 minute. |

Skin that is darker due to UV exposure (sun or tanning bed) should not be treated by the laser and could result in hypo-pigmentation and/or hyper-pigmentation (lightening and darkening of the skin). During your consultation, the certified laser specialist will ask some questions regarding your natural skin pigment and might inquire if the tattoo area has been in the sun to determine appropriate laser settings. If you have had recent exposure, you might be instructed to wait a few weeks until you start your treatments. In addition, it is very important to keep the treated area out of any UV light until treatment is completed. We suggest keeping the area covered and/or use 25+ waterproof sunscreen. |

After each treatment, the affected area will likley have a reddish appearance for a few days. In some cases, blistering is a possibility. If the blister/scab is picked, there is a potential for scarring. Once the ink is removed, you might notice a slight textural change in the skin (smoother) as a result of the initial trauma caused by the tattoo application. Your Certified Laser Specialist will explain post-care instructions with you and send you home with an instruction sheet, and will call you the following day to ensure all is OK and answer any questions you might have about the process.
